I’ve made a lot of housekeeping gifts in the past.
But I was always so focused on the task at hand, that I never had time to really think about how I could use my gift cards to make the housekeeper happier.
This year, I decided to give my housekeeper a gift card for her monthly bill, and she is SO excited to open the box.
The cards are also very good value, and I was able to get a great deal on them at Target (a dollar or two cheaper than a store credit card).
I used Target gift cards for $1,000, $1 the amount of gift cards I currently have, and $400 worth of cash.
When you factor in the extra cash, the value of the cards is actually quite amazing.
I saved $500 at Target on my housekeeping bills, and the gift cards cost me just $2.50 each, for a total of $3.00.
For example, my wife’s monthly bill is $1.30 per day.
That means that I saved $400.00 at Target, and if I had used $300 of my $1 million savings on the cards, I would have saved a total $5,000.00!
I have saved the cash and can use it to buy groceries, rent, and other expenses I might otherwise be struggling to make ends meet on my own.
With my gift card, I can pay my bills with the same money I would save by using my $300 savings on a card.
So, if you have a friend or relative who needs a housekeeper, or you have some extra cash laying around, you can save some extra money and get some amazing housekeeping gift cards.
